Vegetable Garden
In our new house we have a small garden. In part of this I have sown vegetables from seed - four rows of lettuce, one row of beetroot and two rows of carrots. I sowed them on Sunday 2nd July 2006.
They have taken well, especially the lettuce. This photo shows them after one warm week in the ground
I was given some onion and lettuce plants by someone at work and I have just sown these this afternoon in pots.

will pete not eat the lettuce on you?
Do not fear, Pete is restrained behind a fence. However he has grown a lot recently and so may be able to jump over it soon!
