I'm Bored

I've been documenting my eating and exercising habits for a while now, and I have gained no weight at all. I am a little bored of it now, that is why this is my first report in a week or two. I am considering interspersing my weight and eating reports with other information, like how my plants are growing.

I have 14 indoor plants and now that spring has started, they are beginning to sprout new growths. I may even take photos to document their progress.

I had a lazy day and did no exercise

Saturday 11th March 2006

B: Two slices of toast and a coffee
L: Chicken salad
D: 300g steak, chips and a few beers

E: 70 press-ups in the morning

We went out for a meal to a steak restaurant for a friends birthday. It was tasty. After doing the exercise in the morning I wanted to do more in the evening, but forgot.

Thursday 9th March 2006

L: Two ham and cheese rolls, one chicken and salad roll, one caramel bar and a yogurt
D: Stir fried vegetables and chicken and a generous slice of arctic roll

My weight doesn't seem to be moving very much so I think I will have to start eating larger portions more ofter. Currently I do my press-ups in batches of 20 but this is not so tiring now. I will up this to 30 from now on.

Elise and I went for blood tests yesterday morning which are necessary for the wedding. As usual I didn't enjoy the process and felt a little light headed afterwards but was fine after a few minutes. My arm was a little painful after but I think this was due to the tape used to hold the cotton onto the puncture. I thought that I would not be able to do my press-ups this morning, but I was fine. I will up my exercise regime now - 20 press-ups in the morning and 20 in the evening.

Naming Convention

I have just had a good idea. Instead of describing what I have eaten for which meal, I will use shorthand: B = Breakfast, L = Lunch and D = Dinner. After these I will then simply list the components of the meals. Also I will use W = Weight.

Had coffee and a pain au chocolate for breakfast and two ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch with two chocolate bars (Caramels), a yogurt and a clementine. The clementime was really, really bitter and I am unsure if I am able to tackle the second clementine I brought with me. I still have an apple from last week too.

Dinner last night was home made vegetable soup that Elise made. We had a left over gammon steak so we added that and it was gorgeous. I had three slices of bread with it too. After we had a Babybel each then I had a big bowl of ice-cream. Tonight we will have the soup again as there is lots of it.

Haven’t written for a week as I have been very busy. I have been eating quite well and my weight is averaging 59 Kg consistently. I have taken to doing 20 press-ups a day to see if this will speed the weight gain process. Was 58.8 Kgs this morning
