My arms are still sore today. This morning I did another 20 press-ups even though my arms were still painful. This morning I weighed myself and I was 60.4 Kgs! Keep up the good work!

Arms
After reading the website that suggested I do exercise to gain weight I did 62 press-ups this morning. I now realise it was a big mistake. My arms feel very heavy and I know that I won't be able to use them properly for the next few days. Oh well!

Just read this link and I think I might follow some of its tips, eg do more exercise!

Advice
If anyone has any advice on my diet and how I could gain a kilo or two pl,ease let me know.
Cheers
I am becoming a little worried that I may be ranting a bit too much and my blogs are becoming too long, so I will shorten them from now on.
Last night I made chilli con carne with jacket potatoes. It was lovely. We each had a reasonable size spud and I had several large dollups of chilli. We had a half glass of red wine with it too. There was footy on the tv last night again so I drank three cans of beer. The footy was boring, Marseille 2-1 Bolton. After the beer I didn't want any desert.
Breakfast was again a cup of coffee and a pain au chocolate. Mid morning I had an apple (there is only the mandarin left on my desk now, which I shall eat this afternoon) and I have just eaten my lunch; two ham and cheese rolls, a mini portion of Gouda, a packet of crisps and I am now eating my yogurt. Don't know what is for dinner tonight, but there is some chilli left over.

Meals, Meals, Meals
Dinner last night was a bowl of pumkin and chilli soup followed by panfried steak and oven ready chips. Now when I say that that steak was one of the tenderest steaks I have ever eaten, what I really mean is that is was one of the tenderest steaks ever made! I don't know what they fed that cow, but it really worked! Dessert was a slice of lovely peach pie that Elise made, and then I had a small portion of cheese too.
Breakfast was a cup of coffee and a pain au chocolate. When I arrived at work I ate the banana that has been loitering for a couple of days. Lunch was a microwavable cup of carrot and coriander soup, a ham and cheese roll and a rhubarb custard yogurt. All was very tasty. I have just eaten one of the apples and so now there only remains another apple and a mandarin to eat tomorrow to clear my desk of fruit.
I weighed myself this morning and I was 59.3 Kgs. This has led me to think about the rules governing my weight, and when I can finally declare I have reached the magical figure of 60 Kgs. My weight seems to fluctuate a little from days to day which would seem only natural. Therefore I propose that for my actual weight to be declared as 60 Kgs or over I need to weigh consistently this amount for two weeks, a full 14 days. Not only this I will weigh myself at different times of the day so that no pattern can form whereby I am weighing myself when I am heavy than normal e.g. straight after meals. This would surely negate any systematic errors into my weight calculation. Also this would negate the kind offer of help from Elise who suggested I drink a litre or two of water and weigh myself!
Not sure what is for dinner tonight.

Lunch 22.2.06
Breakfast was coffee and toast today. I missed my bus this morning and so was stood at the bus stop for 50 minutes waiting for the next bus to arrive. It was very cold this morning with the wind coming from the north, and as if that wasn't bad enough it started to rain also. I arrived at work at 9.45 and was frozen!
After spending the morning in a meeting trying to warm up 12 noon came along and it was lunchtime. I had two ham and cheese rolls that Elise made for me and a packet of crisps and a yougurt. I still have a selection of fruit next to me on my desk that has slowly been building since Monday. I now have:
- two apples
- one manadin
- one banana
I am considering buying some new weighing scales also. The scales we have are digital with several 7-segment lcd displays, however one of these displays is partially broken. This means that I have to weigh myself in kilograms and guess what the partially missing number is, and then change the settings and weigh myself in stones and pounds to verify my guess. I am getting better at guessing the correct number now, but it is still a little annoying.

Dinner 21.2.06
I weighed myself tonight before dinner and was disappointed to see the scales read 58.4 Kgs. The last time I weighed myself, probably two or three days ago, I had been very pleased to see the scales telling me I was 59 Kg!
Tonight I had half a packet of crisps before dinner. For the main meal we had a fried pork chop with couscous and boiled carrot. I went back for a second helping of couscous and my stomach was so full I could not fit any dessert in. There were two games of football on TV tonight for me to watch so I drank a big bottle of beer. I have now drank the beer and my stomach is as taught as a drum! It feels like the couscous has swollen with the beer and soldified in my stomach.
Lunch 21.2.06
This morning I was hungry and so had a relatively large breakfast - two slices of toast, a cup of coffee and five chocolate chic cookies. As I was so hungry I made myself a large lunch also - two ham and cheese sandwiches, a clementine, a banana, a packet of crisps, a yogurt and strawberry cheesecake. I addition to this I have two apples on my desk at work. Currently only the fruit are left, and I intend to consume these this afternoon. I hope to reach my target of 60 Kg soon, just one kilo to go!

Today lunch is the same as usual - ham and cheese sandwiches made this morning, followed by a yogurt and some fruit. Mmmm
